Windows 10 Free for everyone even pirates

Windows 10 familyThe phrase “nothing in life is free” is no longer valid. Ok maybe that is still yet to be proven, but now that Microsoft has announced that the upgrade to Windows 10 will be available for “all” Windows user using either Windows 7 or 8 you may want to reconsider. Some of you reading may be saying to yourself “this is information that we have had for quite some time”, which is partially correct. However, do you see those quotation above around the word; all? well you see its there for a reason. Microsofts Terry Myerson has been quoted in saying that even those using non-genuine copies of windows will be able to upgrade to Microsoft’s new upcoming operating system for the first year.

In an interview with Reuters, he was quoted saying:

“We are upgrading all qualified PCs, genuine and non-genuine, to Windows 10,”.

He was also said that this was to re-engage with the hundreds of Windows users in China, two thirds of which are using pirated versions of Windows.

  1. I’m honestly on the fence to update to Windows 10. Honestly, I feel like they are pushing the social features TOO much down my throat. Having all your files in the cloud or having your accounts linked to computers, no thank you.

    1. you don’t have to sync all your files or link your accounts. Its more of an option than something you have to use. I sync some of my stuff and not others. the choice is yours really.
