Love Live Movie Coming to Canada!

Ever since it originally aired in Japan on June 13, 2015, fans of the Love Live School Idol Project anime have always wanted it to screen in the western cinemas. Sure you can say that watching it online or on DVD/Blu-ray is the more optimal choice, but fans wanted more. Fans wanted the experience that the Japanese fans of the movie got watching it in theatres.
The U.S. got their wish around the middle of the year, but Canada, as usual, got the short end of the stick and was still left in the dark with whether or not this movie would ever air in Canadian theatres.
Well, worry no more, my fellow people of the true north, for our wish has been heard and granted!
NIS America announced that Love Live! The School Idol Movie is getting a limited theatrical screening in certain parts of Canada! A sneak-peek screening in both Toronto and Halifax will be presented at around the middle of January 2016, while national screenings are going to occur on February 4 and 13!
Additional details of which cinemas will screen the movie as well as show times will be announced at a later date leading up to the nationwide screening, but this is BIG NEWS for Love Live fans across Canada. There’s just something unique and more awe-inspiring about seeing your favorite idol group performing on the big screen with GLORIOUS surround-sound and at a 1080p visual quality.
Well, in any case, I for one, as well as a the rest of Canada’s otaku community, would lovingly count the days until we are able to watch μ’s on the big screen.
