Necropolis Delayed

Harebrained Schemes teams up with Bandai Namco Entertainment America to release their Indie PC game Necropolis, a game where death is inevitable, on Xbox and PlayStation. The game combines third-person action with rogue-like dungeon delving and is being touted as a perfect companion game for fans of Dark Souls.

NECROPOLIS-02

In NECROPOLIS, you play as a nameless adventurer attempting to escape a living, magical dungeon that reconstructs itself each time you play, with only one way out – down. Craft, equip, explore, and fight to stay alive as you delve deeper and face ever-greater threats in the twisting halls and endless chasms of the NECROPOLIS. Have no doubt; you’re going to die – often! – but you’ll improve your combat skills, available upgrades, and dungeon know-how with every playthrough, bringing you one step closer to the exit. (Warning: “Just one more time” mindset can be addicting.)

NECROPOLIS-06

The game was supposed to be released for PC only on March 17, but that has been pushed back for a Summer 2016 release for multiple consoles. Harebrained Schemes will self publish their PC version on Steam and Bandai Namco will release the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game.
