Most of us were already expecting this, considering the series’ track record, but it is always good to get some official confirmation. Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is the newest game in the SK series for PS4 that features water gun-based, third person shooting. Now, Marvelous has announced that the game will be making it to the western and Asian markets, which again, we all saw coming, but it’s still good to hear it sooner rather than later.
People figured this out from the company’s most recent financial results, which contains word of this intent to bring the game to other territories. Currently, there is no set date for when the game will be coming in its English form, but considering how the game’s producer Kenichiro Takaki has mentioned that he wants to make the gap between the Japanese and international releases smaller, the game might arrive sooner than we expect. This is a definite change in comparison to Senran Kagura: Estival Versus or even Valkyrie Drive, where the games were out in Japan for almost more than a year before they got announced for other territories, so seeing this announcement coming less than a month after the game’s announcement is a good sign.
While you wait for the release, feel free to watch the video below, in which myself, Q and Shades from Shady Corner have a discussion related to the new animated opening for Peach Beach Splash.
