One More Step To Kingdom Hearts 3

For most of us Kingdom Hearts 3 is like a mirage that that is constantly on the horizon. We’ve been waiting for Square Enix’s Disney themed action RPG for quite some time, but the publisher has just been tempting us with samples of what we can expect from their next entry in the series. It’s no secret that all these samples are just their way of cashing in on our hype while they add the finishing touches to part 3, and which when you think of it isn’t such a bad thing. Some of us have not played some of the games in the series due to them being exclusive to platforms we didn’t poses, so it’s more of an appetizer before the main course.

The publisher has also manage to survive the curse of long game development cycles and delays with Final Fantasy XV, so I think it’s safe to say that we’re all expecting the same from Kingdom Hearts 3.

Fingers crossed

While the wait continues we’ll be getting KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, a compilation that brings the popular KINGDOM HEARTS Dream Drop Distance to the PlayStation®4 system platform remastered in high definition. The newly remastered title also features KINGDOM HEARTS 0.2 Birth by Sleep  – A fragmentary passage –, a completely new playable episode that links to the story of KINGDOM HEARTS III, taking place after the storyline of KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep and told from the perspective of Aqua. Also included in the compilation is KINGDOM HEARTS  χ  [chi] Back Cover, a new HD movie that tells the mysterious story of the foretellers, connecting the earliest parts of the series’ history.

KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, comes to the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system on Jan. 24, 2017. Hopefully we’ll get more details for Kingdom Hearts 3 soon after.
