Superbeat: Xonic is still one of my favorite rhythm games to play on both PS Vita and PSTV. I’ve played it for the longest time and I still don’t feel close to reaching my level cap or beating all the challenges available. It is definitely a game I recommend, especially now that Acttil, the North American publisher, have announced that Superbeat: Xonic is making it to PS4 and Xbox One.
It will launch with both a physical and digital versions on PS4, but the Xbox One version will only be digital. In North America, the PS4 physical version will cost $39.99 and include two bonus soundtrack discs. However, the European release will not have these discs.
The game will have over 65 music tracks from various genres and include some other tracks that were initially DLC in the PS Vita version. Of course, these console version will have newer DLC tracks in the future.
In my opinion, this looks awesome. I already have the Vita version, but I am more than happy to get the PS4 version. I play the game on my PSTV pretty often, so it shouldn’t feel all that different, giving me a much easier transition. Go ahead and watch the trailer above to know what you’re getting into.
