This is a management and simulation game that gives you the chance to go behind the scenes and run an actual porn studio empire. You get to hire actors and actresses, stage scenes to film, create layouts for new porn releases as well as marketing on a global scale. All of that without actually having any nudity within the game whatsoever.
I was rather surprised when I launched the game for the first time. I was ready to place some actors and film some sexy scenes, but it was way more than that. This game really is focusing on the business side of smut. It delves into all sides of business. You get to hire people, location scout and keep your actors healthy by taking them to the clinic. It is a full scale business simulation, which just happens to be a porn studio.
The best way to get your feet wet to understand the mechanics of how this game works is to go through the tutorial. In this you are introduced to a sexy lady who helps you to film your very first release.
She starts off by bringing you to the agency so you can hire some actors. Not only are you looking at their cost but you are also looking at what genre they are willing to work in. There are five different genres of porn in this game including foreplay, romance, vanilla, woohoo and extreme. Good thing is many of the actors are willing to shoot multiple different genres. This makes it easier to match up actors together when it comes time to shoot.
Once you’ve picked out your actors, you then rent a space and place them to begin shooting. Even though you aren’t actually going to see these characters performing any sexual acts together, you do get to choose what will be shot. This game achieves this by replacing the actors with objects when it comes time to get down and dirty.
I had selected a facial scene between two actors. My actors were replaced with a disposable cup with a straw when I hit record. As the scene played out the cartoon cup contracted and a little bit of liquid squirted out. I assume this was to simulate his climax on her face, which was actually kind of funny the first time I saw it.
Without any nudity to focus on I was surprised at the amount of minor details you need to consider when filming. In order for your film to be a success you have to make sure the camera is in focus, the colors are appealing and the actors are getting fed lunch.
I even had a situation where the owner of the place I had rented from showed up during filming. In order to not get thrown out I had to choose the right answer to convince the owners we were just ‘making a movie.’ Luckily I was able to finish and so were my actors.
Once you’ve filmed a couple of scenes you can bring it to the studio to have it edited. You also have the chance to design the cover of your brand new porno. When everything is done you get to release your film into the wild and watch as it is received around the world. This is where the strategy really comes in. There are many aspects you can play around with to help grow your empire. Different countries will react differently depending on genre, actors or how much money you put into marketing. The key is to get a good return on your investment. Once you are able to put all of these pieces together you are ready to start out on your own!
Final Verdict
So, that’s pretty much the gist of the first part of the tutorial. Going through it gave me a chance to see if this was a game for me. Unfortunately, I am an impatient game player that doesn’t tend to stick with management games for too long. I was impressed with the amount of details you can control though. Even without any actual nudity, I can see how someone could spend a lot of time with this game. If you are someone who likes to build then this may be the game for you. There are plenty of aspects that could keep you coming back until you are running the world’s top porno studio!
