The wait is almost over. We’ve waited patently waited while the team at GAIJINWORKS have presumably taken their time to polish up what could be the best SRPG of the year, if it manages to be better than Children of Zodiarcs and God Wars: Future Past. Summon Night 6: Lost Borders is has been delayed a few times this year, but those delays will be completely worth it if the game meets our expectations, and from what we can see in the English trailer, it just might do that.
The game takes place in the world of Fillujah, a world where all people have their own flying companion creature. The core three characters of the cast, Raj, Amu, and Ist, are all original characters, though the game plot involves them meeting up with suddenly-appearing strangers, who actually make up of character from prior Summon Night entries.
GAIJINWORKS has confirmed that both the NA and EU PS Vita versions have completed QA and are cleared for manufacture! Waiting on the PS4 FQA outcome so atm we don’t have a solid release date to share. As soon as we have more information we’ll share it with you.
