Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA Relocalization Patch for PS4/PSVita is Live!
The Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA relocalization patch is officially live for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita! The relocalization patch includes changes in the script, item names, in-game terminology, monster/boss names, graphical text, and fully re-recorded dialogue in English.
The patch file sizes for each platform are as follows:
- PS4: 1.16 GB
- PS Vita: 279 MB
For PS Vita users, the relocalization patch will be saved on the memory card and will overwrite the previous patch. If PS Vita users have the digital version, it will take up extra space in the system/memory card. If PS Vita users have a retail copy, the patch will be saved on the memory card.
For the PC crowd we’ll have to wait a bit longer. As we covered before the Steam version of the game is being worked on by another developer and will require more time to get it right.
