Darksiders III “Apocalypse Edition” Available for the Hardcore Fans
Several of us here at TheButtonsmashers are very excited to about the return of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse when Darksiders III was announced, but even as impatient as we are to get our hands on it, I’m not sure we’re worthy of the massive “Apocalypse Edition”.
What’s included in Apocalypse Edition? Why thank you for asking! First of all, look at the size of this box. Your neighbors will be wondering why a delivery driver is dropping off a package at your door that very well could be a small coffin based on the size and shape.
Once you’ve rescued your prize from the prying eyes of your neighbors, here’s what you’ll find inside.
- The game “Darksiders III” in a steelbook
- Four statues of Fury, Death, War and Vulgrim (each approx. 10 – 11″ inches tall)
- A runic amulet (approx. 2″ inches)
- An exclusive wall scroll (30×40″ inches)
- Artbook & Soundtrack
- Exclusive armor for Fury as DLC (purely aesthetic, does not impact gameplay)
That’s a lot of loot, virtually guaranteed to satisfy a hardcore fan of the series. But such riches do not come without a price. The Apocalypse Edition retails for $399.99 Euros/USD, which could also buy you a brand new gaming console. Will the four statues and other goodies be worth this price? It’s hard to say without seeing them in person.
