Life is Strange 2 details unveiled in new trailer
Today we finally get a taste of the new adventure in store for the next season of episodes of Life Is Strange. DONTNOD Entertainment and Square Enix released a new trailer today that gives an idea of what to expect in Life is Strange 2.
After a tragic event in Seattle Washington, brothers Sean (16) and Daniel Diaz (9) are forced to flee towards their family’s home town of Puerto Lobos, Mexico. Along the way, they will meet an entirely new cast of characters from the first Life is Strange, but you can expect familiar elements such as the tough choices with consequences you’ll have to make as older brother Sean. It’s also likely the pair will cross paths with Captain Spirit, who was in the prequel episode you can play now for free.
“The release of Captain Spirit was a great moment for the team and we can’t wait to introduce the players to the new story and characters of Life is Strange 2” said Raoul Barbet Co-Creative Director of LIFE IS STRANGE 2 at DONTNOD Entertainment. “We have worked hard with the original team to keep what I personally loved to craft in the first game: the mood, the cinematographic work and of course, the music.”
In addition to the tough choices and mood-setting music and cinematography, a new power will be revealed along the brothers’ coming of age journey. Will we see hints of this power in the first episode, or will we have to wait longer in the season? Only time can tell.
Episode 1 of Life is Strange 2 will release September 27, 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
