Trinbagonian & Man United Legend Joins PES

Last week Konami released a new update for their football sim, eFootball PES 2020 which fixed a lot of issues players had with the game. Along with the bug fixes and tweaks to the gameplay, the developers also up added stadium, and club updates as well as new faces for players along with some new Legends. The most notable of these new Legends and the focus of this piece is the Trinbagonian & Man United Legend, Dwight Yorke who seems to have been faithfully recreated as he was in his prime along side his compatriot Andrew Cole. The duo made one of the most lethal strike partnerships of all time, and having them on the field again, even digitally is great.

The two Man United Legends are set to be unlocked in the fantasy football type mode, myClub along with other Legends of the game at a later date. Theses players can then subsequently be imported into Master League to boost your team should you desire to do so.

As a Trinidadian citizen I have to admit its nice to see a player I grew up seeing play for Trinidad and Tobago in the game. There are a few current players from the National Team in the game, however they all play for less popular clubs and thus have generic faces.

eFootball PES 2020 is available on PC, PS4 and XBOX ONE. The game does have micro-transactions in the form of loot-boxes in one of it’s modes so I advise parents not allow their kids to play the mode, myClub without their supervision.
