Gears of War Ultimate heading to PC
During Microsoft’s press conference they choose to withhold some of their announcements for another press conference, the PC Gaming Show E3 Press conference.
This press Con is one that is not as well known or advertised as much as some of the others, but it was very important. This is because many of us play on PC but during E3 most of the time PC games are not shown as much, and so having a press conference dedicated to PC at E3 is very welcomed.
At this Conference Microsoft announced that one of their new games that they had announced previously a few days before, Gears Of War Ultimate Edition will be making it’s way to Windows 10 PCs. The game will be possible on the PC thanks to Direct X 12 and will be running on higher resolutions (4K) with faster frame rates support than the Xbox One version. Gear Of War Ultimate Edition is a remastered version of the first Gears Of War game, and will support full controller support as well as Keyboard functionality. Some may not know this but the first game was also available on PC so it is nice that this remaster is also making the move over so that the PC crowd get to enjoy the epic cover based shooting that only Gears of War can offer.
The release date is August 25th so that means that we won’t have to wait long to get our paws on this one.
