Yu-gi-oh! Dark Side of Dimensions marks the reappearance of Yūgi and friends from the original Duel Monsters (2000) series. It is the third theatrical release of the series alongside Yu-Gi-Oh!: Bonds Beyond Time (2010) and Yu-Gi-Oh the Movie: Pyramid of Light (2004).

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Franchise has seen a lot of success over the years as an anime, manga and real life card game and it’s no wonder why. The series was one of the first to have viewers believe that there could be more to a children’s game, continuing to build on that to this day with its latest installment Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V

For those of you in Japan this nostalgic adventure is only a few weeks away from the big screen. For the rest of us westerners, our sights are set on early 2017. Until then, I for one have already dusted off my deck and game mat because, in the immortal words of the immortal pharaoh Atem himself, IT’S TIME TO DUEL!!
