Romancing SaGa 2 Demo Now Available
Square Enix has unveiled an exciting demo for Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, a full HD remake of the classic RPG that originally sold over a million copies in Japan back in 1993. The game is set to launch on October 24 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Players who pre-order the game will receive two special items: Shiyuan’s Tactical Primer and Cat’s Amulet, to aid them in their journey.

New Trailer
A new trailer has been released, offering a glimpse into the backstory of the fallen Seven Heroes and introducing two new classes: Imperial Blacksmith and Dancer. You can watch the trailer here.
In the demo, players take on the role of Emperor Leon and his second son, Prince Gerard, embarking on an epic, multi-generational quest. The story revolves around the Seven Heroes, once celebrated protectors who now seek revenge for unknown reasons. The demo concludes with a battle against Kzinssie, one of the Seven Heroes, setting the stage for the full game. Importantly, save data from the demo can be transferred to the full game, allowing players to continue their adventure seamlessly upon the game’s release.

Rich Narrative
Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven promises a rich, multi-generational narrative where players’ choices will shape the empire’s future. Developed by the team behind the 2020 remake of Trials of Mana, this remake features modern visuals, enhanced strategic gameplay, and various other improvements. Players can switch between the classic and newly rearranged soundtracks and choose from three difficulty modes that can be adjusted at any time.
The game will be available on October 24 for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, and PC via Steam. A free demo is currently available for all platforms. For more information, visit the official website.
