TWO NEW SPORTS MANGA TO BE RELEASED THIS SUMMER

Two new manga from VIZ Media are set to make their way state side this summer. The company announces the launch of a pair of Basketball themed manga series to be release in July and August.

The first riveting sports manga, HAIKYU!! launches in print and digital formats on July 5th.

Created by Haruichi Furudate, HAIKYU!! depicts the on- and off-the-court drama of a driven young volleyball player. The series is rated ‘T’ for Teens and will be released under the Shonen Jump imprint.

Ever since he saw the legendary player known as “the Little Giant” compete at the
national volleyball finals, Shoyo Hinata has been aiming to be the best volleyball
player ever! Who says you need to be tall to play volleyball when you can jump
higher than anyone else?

In the opening volume, after losing his first and last volleyball match of his middle
school career against Tobio Kageyama, “the King of the Court,” Shoyo Hinata
swears to become his rival. But what happens when the guy he wants to defeat

The second is the smash hit manga series KUROKO’S BASKETBALL launches in print and digital formats on August 2nd.
