Hello Kitty Fan & Bronies Rejoice | VIZ Media Announces My Little Pony & Hello Kitty
VIZ Media announced today that they will be publishing two new books for two different audiences than the regular manga type books they publish. One will be a Hardcover Art Book for My Little Pony: The Movie, which will be filled with concept material, production stills, sketches and more, accompanied by insightful commentary from many of the artists, designers, and animators who worked on the film. VIZ Media will be publishing the book under license from the owner of the My Little Pony brand, Hasbro, Inc. and will debut at retail and online platforms on August 29th for a retail price of $39.99 U.S. / $53.99 CAN and will launch digitally with an MSRP of $19.99 via VIZ.com and the VIZ Manga App, as well as from the Nook, Kobo, Kindle, iBooks, comiXology, and Google Play stores.
The second book we mentioned, that the they will be publishing will be THE HELLO KITTY & FRIENDS COLORING BOOK. This book will be made in partnership with Sanrio Inc. and will feature more than 40 original line art illustrations depicting Hello Kitty, My Melody, Keroppi, Badtz-Maru, Chococat and more Sanrio characters. Adults and children will have hours of fun bringing these illustrations to life in full color.
We were not given an MSRP for the book yet, but we for know that it will release during October 2017.
