With the unveiling of the new KINGDOM HEARTS III trailer, a brilliant spotlight has been lit on KINGDOM HEARTS’ very first Disney Pixar film based world. Saddle up boys and girls, we’re going to the land of Toy Story!!

In the new trailer, Sora, Donald Duck and Goofy find themselves in Andy’s room as they join Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Hamm, Rex and Sarge to investigate the disappearance of their fellow toys and Andy as well as the sudden emergence of the Heartless. Fans will get to follow along with an original story line and see our favorite trio all decked out in Toy inspired looks. The stage also promises to bring a few new toys to the playroom along with special Keyblades that can transform to give Sora some unique attacks to surprise the Heartless.

KINGDOM HEARTS was created through the collaboration of Disney Interactive and Square Enix. Since 
the first KINGDOM HEARTS was released in March 2002 for the Playstation 2, the series has expanded with several entries, having celebrated its 15th anniversary on March 2017. In KINGDOM HEARTS III, players will continue their magical adventure across beloved Disney worlds, with Toy Story being the third new world having been announced, along with the futuristic San Fransokyo from Big Hero 6 and the Kingdom of Corona from Tangled.
With it having been officially confirmed on stage at the D23 Expo, fans can look out for the official release of KINGDOM HEARTS III some time in 2018. The series has amassed many entries over the years including the compilation games Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 for the Playstation 4 as well as many manga and novel entries. Don’t shy away from reliving the legendary series while we await the third main series entry’s highly anticipated release.
