Where is Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA For The PC?

More than a month has passed since the release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA for PS4 and PS Vita in the Americas and Europe, but where is the PC version?

On October 10th NIS America released an update on the progress of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA for the PC. In the news update they stated that the game’s release will be delayed approximately another 2 months. Which puts it somewhere around mid-December. The publisher cited improvements to the GPU, CPU, Shadow rendering, and framerate as the main reasons for the extra time needed, and that they’re working with Peter “Durante” Thoman for his expertise with regards to fixing PC ports. They also reiterated their commitment to improving the text across Japanese, English, and French versions for the the game, and confirmed that the update for the localization of the console versions will be a part of that.

NIS America also assured those that pre-ordered the game for the PC that they could get a refund for it via Steam refund or by contacting the platform they purchased it from. The Full full update can be found on NIS America’s Steam Page for the game.
