PC Get’s Left Out For Valkyria Chronicles 4 Demo

The Valkyria Chronicles 4 Demo has been exceptional, and if the final product sticks to the formula it’ll be a success. The game will be coming to the PS4, PC, Switch and XBOX ONE, so SEGA released the demo on each of those platforms excluding one, the PC. Why they avoided the platform is not clear, but I hope it’s not a sign that the PC version will be delayed. I’m usually a big fan of delays to make a product better, and I still am, but I’d like to see this game be a success on all platforms at the same time too.

The demo covers a few chapters in the beginning of the game, and progress carries over into the final product. If you’re planning on picking up the game and have one of the consoles its on then I highly recommend getting the demo. It allows you to get acquainted with the controls and systems in play for a game that I assume will take hundreds of hours to complete. My time with the demo is already in the 10s of hours on the PS4, and I fear it will be the same on the Switch too.

What’s in the Valkyria Chronicles 4 Demo

Play through the prologue and first two chapters of the game, as well as an exclusive bonus mission created for the demo. Demo save data, including items obtained, class levels, earned experience, and currency total will transfer over to the full game, so you can pick up right where you left off. Additionally, importing save data from the demo will net you an exclusive accessory for use in the full game.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be available on PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox One™, and Steam® for PC in the Americas and Europe on September 25, 2018. The game has been rated T for Teen by the ESRB for PS4™ and Xbox One™
