It seems Sony is not out of the handheld race yet, even if they have to make a mini home console to do it. So announced at TGS that they will be releasing a new mini console called the PS Vita TV. This device will be capable of playing vita games on your TV via the use of a PS duel shock 3 controller (PS3 controller). The Vita TV will come in two bundles one by it’s self that should run you about $100 (the one I’m getting) 
and another with a Dualshock 3 controller for about $150 USD. Now these prices are not carved in stone because they were directly converted from the Japanese announced price but they should be a close approximation.
The Vita TV will also come packaged with all the bells and whistles too. like and HDMI cable, the device, Printed material (who ever reads that?)ac adapter and power cord., and will be able to play remote play from PS4 after a system update.
