‘The Retro Play Show’ #18: “Soul Blazer” with Allahweh!

I just recently joined the Button Smashers family, and I also just recently finished editing up a new retro gaming stream, so I figured that maybe my first post on the site could showcase my passion for gaming!

Those of you who have no idea who I am probably don’t know that I have a love for retro gaming as well as modern gaming, and this is something that I try to showcase in the media that I produce.  I started playing games when very young in the 1980s and thus some of my favorite games were produced between about 1985 and 2000 or so.  The Retro Play Show is a series of live-streamed classics that I started earlier this year to emulate the experience of just relaxing with friends and enjoying a good game. This is the 18th episode in that series, and you can find all of the other episodes either on my Twitch channel or on my YouTube account!  Keep in mind that retro gaming isn’t all I do (as you’ll see), so if it isn’t your thing, no worries!

In this particular video, I spend over two and a half hours clearing the final portions of “Soul Blazer,” a classic action/adventure/RPG for the SNES that was released in the U.S. in 1992.  It’s a great game that was developed by Quintet, a company also known for “Act Raiser,” “Illusion of Gaia,” “Terranigma,” and “Granstream Saga” (PS1).  If you like what you see of this game, check out some of the others – you won’t be disappointed!

Meanwhile, please “follow” me on Twitch if you want to be able to chill with me and enjoy some fun gaming sessions, and do subscribe on YouTube as well.

And, if you want to see some other stuff that I get up to, follow my blog as well!

Enjoy the video! 🙂
