Microsoft Edge

Microsoft edge

Remember Project Spartan, the code name for the new browser that Microsoft is working on for Windows 10? Well it’s no longer going to be called that, because Microsoft has given their new baby a name. Microsoft Edge will be the official name of the new Microsoft web browser that will be replacing internet explorer. The logo looks a lot like the IE logo, but what’s under the hood it is supposed to be much more similar to browsers like chrome and Firefox. Some of these similarities come in the form of compatibility with extensions, while others may just be visual.

With Edge, Microsoft hopes to make it the all in one browser for all Windows 10 devices. Microsoft claims it is built to give you a better web experience with features that allow you to write directly on webpages and share your mark-ups with others. Read online articles free of distraction or use the offline reading feature for greater convenience.

Microsoft Edge is the new browser that works the way you do.

I have not yet gotten a chance to try out Edge, but you can rest assured that as soon as I do I will have a video demonstration breaking down what I like or dislike about it.

  1. Been using this for a while, and it’s got potential. But at the minute it’s slow, sluggish and unresposive. They’ve got a lot of work to do on it
