Monthly Anime Update (June)

Seasonals, seasonals, seasonals.

Why do I even watch them? Well you don’t know this about me, but that’s how I function as a human being. I feed off the positive vibes provided by those around me. If you’re having fun, I’m most likely having fun and that’s exactly how I know what seasonals I want to watch, by picking the same shows that my friends are watching.  By the way, I’m gonna assume you already know the premise of the shows and just write down my feelings towards that show, so without further adieu, the anime I’m watching this season.

Leftovers:

Fate/Stay night unlimited blade works (tv) 2nd season

Fate

MAKE IT RAIN Ufotable, MAKE IT RAIN. This show is absolutely stunning to watch; the animation, the music, the story writing; It will definitely captivate you and if you haven’t already, check the show out! The only thing I can say that would turn people off from watching the show is that it might be too complex for their tastes, but other than that, enjoy the beauty that no other show can provide.

Kuroko no Basket 3rd season

Who said I didn’t watch basketball huh? Why would I want to watch ordinary people play an ordinary sport when I can watch hype b-ball with super powas like 100% accuracy 3-pointers. Don’t get me wrong basketball is cool, but as I said before ordinary. If you enjoy basketball even the slightest (which I do), you will definitely have a blast with this show.

Nisekoi : (second season)

nisekoi

I actually find this show “ordinary” or nothing special compared to the rest, but there are some scenes that I really enjoyed, such as the episodes with Chitoge’s mother. Even if those scenes didn’t make me shed a manly tear, they’ll definitely be a special place in my kokoro. In my opinion watch Bakemonogatari first then Nisekoi.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure:Stardust Crusaders – Egypt Arc

What speaks to me? What shounen speaks to me? This one! The suspense, the what the hell did I just see, the epic journey  to save the damsel, everything about this show is absolutely bizarre and would not want it any other way. Every second of this show is a plot twist which makes every episode give you a crazy adrenaline rush! You better pounce on this juicy steak if you haven’t already!!!

Seasonals:

Hibike! Euphonium

The three most common reasons why people are watching this show are: Interests in concert band, Kyoto Animation fanboys, or DAT YURI. Yuri, if you don’t know the definition, is love between two females and this was the first show I have seen shove yuri right in your face in episode eleven. Watching that one scene unfold right in front of your eyes was absolutely HI-LARIOUS.

Owari no Seraph

Owari-no-Seraph-anime

90% percent sure there are better shounens to watch like Gurren Lagann and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, so it’s a show that you should watch after watching the better shounens out there and totally skippable (in my opinion). Vampires are also not my thing, but if you are, check this out and Hellsing/Hellsing Ultimate.

Shoukgeki no Souma

Good food anime are scarce, so always check out food anime, but this show is definitely unskippable. Maybe I’m on the hype train, I dunno, but definitely watch it as long as you’re not sensitive to ecchi/fanservice themes. The food in this anime WILL make you hungry, that’s just hope tasty the food looks. You also ACTUALLY LEARN FOOD TIPS FROM THE SHOW such as using honey to make meat more tender.

And that was the list of anime I am watching. This month was quite awesome as it is wrapping up the summer season with some rather epic endings from the shows that are ending.

Thanks for read guys, YOU’RE DA BEST!

  1. Can’t believe you said Gurren was a good anime, i feel for you bro, i really do! You obviously haven’t had enough curry yet!

While Owari isn’t an amazing anime, it’s pretty damn good imo, better than Gurren was, though not as good as Code Geass

    1. Well Ryu, I have actually had 84 curry dishes already and I just found Gurren Lagann a really entertaining show compared to most.

Code Geass was one of the first anime I have watched and I just don’t appreciate it as much as I know others do like you.

We have all been to different restaurants, eating different curry at different times, so we got different tastes. 😛
