Monthly Anime Update – February

What is up guys, Allen here bringing you your monthly anime update, but I must address changes that I will be making.

My month anime update doesn’t align with the anime season too well, so I’m clear things up. If the update falls onto the same month as the anime season starts i.e. January, it will contain what I think about certain shows of the season and if they interest me. If the update falls on the offbeat i.e. February and March, I’ll list the shows that premiere in that respective month then follow with what I have been watching. I’m also thinking of removing the month in the title and adding something along the lines of Monthly Anime Update – Winter Season part 1, 2, or 3.

My second change is that I’m starting a category called Apps 4 U which will talk about game apps that are not generic to public eye, or at the least to me. My burning hate for Candy Crush will materialize as articles showcasing other apps. The articles will not contain any app that deals with that energy/time crap that makes people mindlessly play their game as well as ones that require internet. However it will contain arcade/platforming games and others that pique my interest.
PS Bejeweled > Candy Crush

I will also be producing content about Smash because Smash Brothers is such a big part of my life, so why not? I’ll be writing tournament coverage, advanced techniques, and any other miscellaneous topics. Hope this draws in more people to the already large smash community.

Anyways, here’s the update!

February Premieres

Mahou Tsukai PrecureA Fantasy, Kids, Magic, and Shoujo produced by Toei Animation

Rilu Rilu Fairilu – A Fantasy, Kids, and Magic produced by Studio Deen

What I’m watching

Seasonals

Boku Dake ga Inai Machi AKA Erased – This show will most likely be the face of the season, as people praise it’s potential to be a masterpiece. I really enjoy how it sprinkles humor here and there to lift up the dark tone of the show.

Prince of Stride: Alternative  Nothing too spectacular here, at least for the moment. The characters are interesting at least. It’s a fun show, but mostly because I’m interested and probably not for everyone.

Old Shows

Vash-The-Stampede-578x406

Trigun (12 episodes in) – The whole show is pretty standard except for one thing. Vash the Stampede. He is so lovable because of his positive, silly attitude and his unwavering resolve of what is right and wrong.

Baccano! – HOLY CRAP THIS SHOW IS AMAZING. It has this ability to keep you hooked even though your watching 3 different storylines take place at the same time. While it has a large cast, Baccano still manages to flesh out everyone.

Aaaaand there you have it. Most of you don’t know this, but I’m on vacation in Vietnam. Fun, Tiring, and HOT. Sorry if the update was a little short on pics, hotel WiFi is preventing me from doing much more.
