PES 2017 Gets Even Better With More Updates

During the past few months, I’ve been surprisingly addicted to Konami’s PES 2017. This is strange for me because I’m usually playing FIFA games, but this past year I’ve I’ve found myself really into the Master League. I’ve been spending most of my time playing the XBOX One Version, due to it being the version that I used for our review of the title, however, I’d much rather be playing on the PC if only that version of the game wasn’t so ….. “umm.. how do I say this in a nice way?”, NOT GOOD.

Anywho, PES 2017 on the XBOX One is still a great experience, or I wouldn’t still be playing it over FIFA 17. If I had to choose, I’d say get the PS4 version is the version to get, because it allows you to patch the game to give you the all right team names and emblems. Partner that with all the constant updates that the game is receiving, and you have recipe for some good times.

The Publisher has released their third Data Pack for the game which will include:

  • Adding the popular myClub mode to the free-to-play PES 2017 Trial Edition. The myClub mode introduces users to PES 2017’s gameplay elements in readiness for building their own title-winning squad. Users can obtain players using accrued points from in-game achievements or micro-transactions to assemble a team of their own. From now, through until February 23rd, those who start myClub for the first time will receive a UEFA Team of the Year and PES Player agent to help bolster their squad.
  • Liverpool F.C. – PES 2017 Preferred Partner – have also been implemented, with Anfield Legends Michael Owen, Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler who will also make their appearance in myClub.
  • Premium Partner F.C. Barcelona will have a huge update as well, with new top team members added alongside new Legend players who will also appear in myClub, including the likes of Lilian Thuram, Ludovic Giuly, Laurent Blanc, Hristo Stoichkov and Ronald Koeman.
  • Eight classic Borussia Dortmund strips, spanning from 1975 through until 2012, marking key moments in the illustrious German team’s rise to become a world powerhouse.
  • New pitch side hoardings.
  • The adidas ball that will be used in the 2016/2017 UEFA Champions League final in Cardiff in June. Additionally, new boots will be added, with the newly released footwear from Nike, adidas and Puma.

If you’re a football fan and have a PS4 then you should have this game. Xbox One owners may consider it if you don’t mind not being able to update your kits. Everyone else need not apply. The other versions of PES 2017 are not up to snuff.
