Troll and I Confirmed for the Nintendo Switch

Video game publisher Maximum Games, in partnership with developer Spiral House released a new features trailer for the upcoming action adventure game, Troll and I.

The video further delves further into the world of Troll and I, with an extensive overview of key gameplay features which include the in-game foraging and crafting systems, as well as the split-screen co-op feature.

It has also been confirmed that Troll and I will be releasing on the new Nintendo Switch later this Spring; fully playable at home or on the go using the Joy-Con controllers.

Otto is a teenage boy, extremely agile and skillful with a spear. He is experienced with melee weapons, inquisitive, and a natural explorer. After being flushed out of his village by ruthless hunters, Otto befriends Troll, a giant, magical creature that becomes a crucial part of his journey. Troll has unique abilities the player can collect and utilize throughout the game.

While strategically utilizing their unique strengths, players will have to overcome the many enemies they will face in the Scandinavian back-country.

Throughout the game, various natural resources will be encountered, which can be used for Otto fashion spears and other weapons for survival and also hunting for wildlife, which can be used for healing during battle.

Players who opt to go solo can easily switch between Otto and Troll in-game; with Troll’s massive size and strength and Otto’s speed and resourcefulness for use to take out enemies with power, or stealth. Troll and I also supports spilit screen gameplay; perfect for co-op; couch co-op.

Troll and I is currently in development, and will be available on March 21, 2017 in North America and on March 24, 2017 in Europe for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and digitally on PC, with the Nintendo Switch release slated for Spring 2017.
