PSA: Anime North 2015

What’s up everyone, my name is Kenji from theButtonsmashers.com and today I am catering to the demands of all fanboys and fangirls out there by presenting a much-anticipated review of one of the biggest anime to have come out in recent years.  An anime that fired off from all cylinders and dominated every corner of the world, from Akihabara to Hot Topic:  Attack on Titan.

….oh…wait….that’s my review intro…..

Ok, take 2.

What’s up everyone!  Ken here, from theButtonsmashers.com.  Just a little heads up that I will be attending ANIME NORTH this coming Friday and Saturday, May 22nd and May 23rdrespectively, at the Toronto Congress Center.

For those of you who may not know, Anime North is a premier Canadian anime convention (the largest in Canada) that features not just anime and manga, but also music, pop culture, video games, and the Japanese culture in general.  This year, it will go on from May 22nd to May 23rd.  I will be representing the website for this event and will be interviewing various guests and con-goers during those 2 days that I’m there.

yeeeeeeeeeeeey.

This will be the first time that I would be attending a convention, and as such I am extremely excited about attending an event as big as Anime North while representing the site no less.

Gotta put my best reporter shoes on for this one.

I’ll mostly be running around, taking pictures of cosplayers and events while interviewing various people all at the same time (MOST IMPORTANTLY J. MICHAEL TATUM), so if you do see me, feel free to stop what I’m doing and say “hi”, “hello”, or even “konnichiwa”.  I will be wearing my Haikyu cosplay (Kageyama), so you have a point of reference for where to spot me.

haikyu costest

This is the only “selfie” (ugh) that I would actually take, for professional purposes.

Although….now that I think about it….a lot of people are gonna be running around in Haikyu cosplay…..sooooo…..I guess recognize my face first before randomly spying on every Haikyu cosplayer?

Aaaaaaaaaanyways, it will be an awesome event, and I’ll be sure to create an article retelling some of my highlights from the con, with a ton of photos for your amusement (and not just from ecchi cosplayers, mind you).

……yeah………..Kill la Kill.

Aaaand that’s pretty much it for now.  Hopefully I’ll see some of you at Anime North, if you are attending, and if not, my articles on the con will be up after the event, one covering the actual event, and another covering the entire gaming area (@Sheraton Hotel), as that would be a whopper deserving its own article.

Either way, until next time, this has been Ken, from theButtonsmashers.com, and I’ll see you guys in the future!
