Dragon Ball Freeza Arc Full Colour manga to be released in May

Viz Media has announced that a full colour release for the latest work in Akira Toriyama’s most well known series Dragon Ball with this  new story arc Dragon Ball Full Color: Freeza Arc Volume 1.

After his epic battle with Vegeta, Son and his friends must obtain the wish-granting Dragon Balls in order to resurrect their fallen allies! Their search will take them all the way to the planet Namek, where the evil Freeza and his minions are slaughtering the Namekians in order to fulfill Freeza’s wish for immortality. What will it take to defeat this great evil?

Dragon Ball: Freeza Arc will be covering a story arc that is an absolute fan favourite and will be available in full colour throughout the five volumes which will be published quarterly. The  manga’s dimensions are 6 5/8″ and 10 1/4″ so it is slightly larger than a traditional manga.

The manga is rated ‘A’ for all ages and will be available in print and digitally via the Viz Manga app, as well as on the Nook, Kobo, Kindle, iBooks, comiXology, and Google Play stores. The suggested retail price for Dragon Ball Full Color: Freeza Arc is $19.99 US/ $22.99 CAN and the manga will be released on May 3rd 2016 with the next four volumes being published every three months.

Volumes 1-3 of Dragon Ball Full Color: Saiyan Arc, the predecessor to Freeza Arc, is also available in print and digitally via the Viz Manga app.
